Dr. Zemba has consulted for more than 30 years in the areas of human health & environmental risk assessment, environmental fate and transport modeling, and air quality evaluation -- all geared toward understanding and helping to manage risks to public health and environmental integrity. Dr. Zemba has offered expert testimony at many public meetings, in hearings, and in courtrooms. He has also taught graduate-level college courses in environmental engineering, air pollution control & modeling, and risk assessment, in colleges and universities in Massachusetts and Vermont. His expertise encompasses a wide variety of environmentally important contaminants. Much of Dr. Zemba's recent project work has focused on per- and poly-fluorinated alkyl substances (aka PFAS)

Dr. Zemba holds a B.S. with Honors in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
